Charissa Thompson

Thompson has left FOX Sports and began hosting in Versus Sports as well as Yahoo Sports. Thompson was the anchor of Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos for the highly-visited Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for Yahoo Sports' presence at major events, including The 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. The success in both venues resulted in her being a part of ESPN in August 2011, when she was chosen as one of the hosts on the new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." She joined"SportsNation," the "SportsNation" network in July 2012. The program was an enormous success and she stayed with the network until the end of May 2013 when she returned in Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a passionate athlete, and she proved her ability to move into entertainment. Following a string of jobs as a part-time employee Thompson was appointed as an ongoing co-host of the late-night edition of Hollywood newsmagazine "Extra," in June 2014.
