Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner, born as Lori Husman, is an American businesswoman, and well-known TV persona, acting as a Shark or an investor in the ABC business reality show, Shark Tank since 2009. When she was in college, she became interested in making and selling custom-made jewelry. When the idea for an organizer made of plastic came to her, she demonstrated it to ladies on the street to observe their reaction. Eventually she patented the product and started selling it on several platforms both offline and online as she continued to create new products. Her portfolio comprises more than 1000 product launches, including 120 US patents and international ones. She has sharp business sense that allows her to know in an instant whether an item has the capacity to be "a hero" as well. This is why the vast majority of her items she offers are a success. She's a firm believer that "if you're fortunate enough to have a chance you have a responsibility to make a difference". As a result she gives to numerous causes every year.
