Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28, 1967) was an American performer and actress. She began her professional career as a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman. Her father was the eldest of three siblings. As a child she sang in clubs and went out to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actress. She started her acting career at Wooster School at the age of thirteen years old. She was born in Brookfield on April 28 on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, together with Uta Hagen who was a famous instructor. Kari began acting when she was aged a teenager. Her first break on television was 1987 on MTV's Remote Control.
