Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. She was born within South London. Madekwe is English, and her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in a south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She pursued acting studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. She has since made appearances on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she played Elisha in the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In the same time, she starred as Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. She played Bambi as Bambi in The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. After two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season 3. On the show Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by an extended family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter and baseball during the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley couldn't walk, however she danced. This led to the fact that as she grew older, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer from that moment. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major divisions until she finished high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and acrobatics. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
